Often I find that students either ignore it or give it less importance. Reason may be any. If you are unable to attempt it, well, read my tips. I am sure these tips will make Comprehension Passage easier for you.
1. Read the passage carefully and quickly before answering any question.
2. Understand what the writer wants to say and conclude.
3. Passage can be based on any fact, quality, event, character, idea or opinion .
4. Underline the important words, phrases or sentences using a pencil.
5. Read the questions carefully and spot the appropriate answers. Sometimes the answer of the first question is found in the last lines of the passage.
6. Write the answer in the same tense as in the question.
7. Try to use your own words to answer a question.
8. Don't try to match the Synonyms or Antonyms in a hurry. Pause for a minute and think well.
Read the passage peacefully and try to understand the word or concept before matching the words.
9. Don't leave any question unattempted.
10. Don't spend too much time on attempting it. Focus on the time limit as you will have to solve the rest of the paper too.
I hope you will score well in the Comprehension Passage while keeping these tips in your mind.
All the best!
