Adjectives | Three Degrees of Adjectives | Let's play with degrees of comparison  Page # 60, 61, 62, 63 & 64 An adjective is a word that describes a noun or a pronoun and adds to the quality of the noun. Describing words are called adjectives.  Example- tall boy There can be other describing words such as-fat,short, etc. Adjectives can be used to compare the qualities in a person animal or thing. Examples :  1. Harry is a tall boy. 2. Vishal is taller than Harish.  3. Vicky is the tallest. In the sentences above, there is a comparison of the quality i.e. tall. In English grammar,  it is called degrees of comparison. It means that two or more people or things are compared for having a quality and to assess who has more of that quality.
