Tips to Attempt Comprehension Passage

Dear Readers, Today I am going to throw some light on Comprehension Passage which is  an important part of Reading Section.  It occupies a special place in many competitive exams too. Often I find that students either ignore it or give it less importance. Reason may be any.  If you are unable to attempt it, well, read my tips. I am sure these tips will make Comprehension Passage easier for you. 1. Read the passage carefully and quickly before answering any question. 2. Understand what the writer wants to say and conclude. 3.  Passage can be based on any fact, quality, event, character, idea or  opinion . 4. Underline the important words, phrases or sentences using a pencil. 5. Read the questions carefully and spot the appropriate answers. Sometimes the answer of the first question is found in the last lines of the passage. 6. Write the answer in the same tense as in the question. 7. Try to use your own words to answer a question. 8.
