*Focus points for 8th English Board Exam*


*In 8th class*, the following topics have been identified priority wise which will help us to achieve our target.


1. *Unseen Comprehension* (15 marks)


2.  Word- Meaning (4 marks)


3. Fill in the blanks &  True/False based on chapters     (3 marks)

         ⛳️♦️⛳️ True-False ⤵️




4. Translation from English to Punjabi (2 marks)


5. Translation from Punjabi to English (2 marks)


6. Make sentences (4 marks)


7. Good Handwriting : 5 Marks

*Note*: ▪ These questions (35 marks) are very important to score good. Moreover, they are the easiest ones.


▪Written practice is required of all the topics.


*After covering the above topics, the following topics should be covered*.



8. Vocabulary: 6 Marks

    

9. Grammar: 12 Marks


10. Notice writing/ Newspaper Headlines/ Dialogue   (3 marks)


11.*Applications/ Letters * (6 marks)


12. Question answers of lessons (6 marks)


13. Questions from poetry and name of poems and poets (8 marks)


14.  Paragraph writing/ Story writing (4 marks)


*Note*.▪ It has been observed that the good students lose marks in grammar section(16 marks). So it is advised that those students who can or aspire to score more than 80 percent, must do written practice of these topics. Moreover, the teachers must clear their doubts, if they have any, regarding these topics.

for Preboard ( 22 January) & Board Exam (15 Mach 2024)

Maximum Marks: 80

Time : 3: 15 hours [15 minutes + 180 minutes]


☆ Spend first 15 minutes reading the Question Paper & making strategy as given below ⬇️

1. Section-A  : 15 Marks - 30 minutes

2. Section-B :  25 Marks - 50 minutes

3. Section-C  : 40 Marks - 100 minutes (1 hour + 20 minutes)


Save Time (Revision Time) for the whole paper : 15 minutes 


Do maximum / ample  practice of Sample Paper, Preboard Paper, Previous Year Papers & Practice Papers.
