Teaching Tip: Need to Focus on Two Types of Assessments

Image
During my 16 years of teaching period , I have come across the conclusion that two types of assessments matter a lot to make headway in the performance of the learners. 1. Teacher Assessment :  A teacher can adopt a zillion of methods to assess and revamp the overall performance of his pupils. One such method is giving tests. Let it be daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or annually. Mainting its record can play a wonderful role. 2. Self Assessment : When a student assesses his performance in every single test, he must put his invaluable insight to look for his weaknesses and adopt some useful skills to subdue his fears. If not done , then the Achilles heel can become the stumbling-block in the path of his progress. A teacher can help him assess. Happy teaching !                                        .....cont........
