Weblog = Web + log A weblog (blog) is a website that contains a log or diary of information, specific topics or opinions. A blog author (blogger) links to stories or other websites with relevant and interesting information. 

Webinar = Web + Seminar  Web and -inar (of seminar) make webinar.  Webinar is a seminar conducted over the internet.

Spife = spoon + knife  A  spife  is a tool where the blade of a knife is used as the handle of the spoon, often used for cutting kiwi fruit. Its name is a portmanteau of the words "spoon" and "knife".

Portmanteau word - Motel  Motor + hotel = Motel   Mo of motor + tel  of hotel  is blended. Motel is a hotel for motorists, typically having rooms adjacent to a parking area. Motel is a hotel near a main road for people who are travelling by car.

Moped= motor + pedal Moped= a type of small, not very powerful motorbike;  a lightweight, low-powered motorbike that can be pedaled.

Portmanteau Word - infotainment  The word  infotainment  is formed by splicing two words “ information   ” and “ ed ucation .”  The spliced parts “info-” and  “-tainment” are blended to form a portmanteau word, “infotainment”.

Dear students,  Today I am sharing some useful and helpful Tips that would help you score better and would help you  attempt English paper in an impressive way. 1. Read each  question carefully before attempting it. 2. Mention Section (A, B, C, D, E)  and Question no. clearly and legibly. 3. Try to attempt the paper in a serial order ( 1 to 9). 4. First impression is the last impression. So, if you choose to attempt the questions you know very well, you can. It hardly creates any problem. But mention the section and question no. clearly. 5. Leave a line after every answer. But not in case of Objective Type Questions - It looks odd there. 6. Avoid cutting . But don't worry if it happens. Just strike the wrong word, sentence or question  two-three times and keep it in a box.  Avoid crisscrossing. 7.
