Let's Throw Garbage Out
Usually I go t to my class before Morning Assembly and solve my students' problems. Now that they are in 7th standard, they try to prove themselves. Sometimes they argue with other students.
Teaching is not a herculean task. We have to adopt different ways to make our students learn ethical values.
Today I asked them to write about their ill feelings, bad incidents, lies, thefts, etc. They were instructed not to show their write-ups to anyone, not even to me. They cheerfully did so.
After that, they tore their write-ups smilingly and threw the garbage ( stored in their minds) into the garbage bin. They were feeling calm and relaxed.
Today they learnt how to overcome their stress, anxiety, fear and worries amicably. This made my day.
