 Three Forms of Dry


Many verbs give the idea of action. For example,  

Dry - ਸੁੱਕਾ 




Main verbs have three basic forms.

📌Three Forms of Verb : 

(Base) 1st form - dry
(Past) 2nd form- dried
 (Past Participle) 3rd form - dried


📌Rule

Replace  '-y ' of 'dry' with '-ied' to make the 2nd & 3rd form 'dried'.


📌Remember : 

Its 2nd and 3rd forms are same.

 dry- dried- dried


📌Sentences for Spoken English:

1. Let it dry.

2. He dried his towel in the sun.

3. I have dried the dishes.
