Write a short note on the each of the following:

2.  jalianwala Bagh massacre

  1. Death of Rani Jhansi: 
    Rani Lakshmibai, the Queen of Jhansi, died on June 18, 1858, fighting against the British forces during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Her death is considered a pivotal moment in the struggle for independence, and she has become a symbol of courage and resistance against oppression. She refused to surrender and died fighting, further fueling the rebellion. Her legacy continues to inspire Indian patriots. 
  2. Jallianwala Bagh Massacre: The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre occurred on April 13, 1919, when British troops fired into a peaceful gathering of unarmed civilians at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab. This brutal event, ordered by Brigadier General R.E.H. Dyer, resulted in the death of hundreds of Indians, and became a turning point in the Indian independence movement. It sparked widespread outrage and resentment against British rule. 
  3. First War of Independence: The First War of Independence, also known as the Indian Rebellion of 1857, was a major uprising against British rule in India. It began in May 1857 and was led by Indian soldiers, sepoys, and some princely rulers. While the rebellion was ultimately unsuccessful, it had a significant impact on the British administration, leading to the transfer of power from the East India Company to the British Crown. This war is considered a crucial event in the history of India's struggle for independence. 
  4. These were the teachings of Sri Satguru Ram Singh ji:
  • God is one.
  • Lead a simple, honest life free from any kind of evil.
  • Help the poor and the needy.
  • Work for the freedom of our country.

Beside these he strongly opposed child marriage, female, foeticide, taking of alcoholic drinks and non-vegetarian foods, dowry marriages, religious fanaticism, cow slaughter and casteism.
